ANCONS is identifying a small number of distinguished individuals and institutions connected to Telangana who may wish to take part in confidential discussions regarding the establishment of an independent Section 8 public-purpose institution for the proposed Dream Educational City.

A letter of invitation
There are undertakings that cannot be completed by those who begin them. A city built for education is one of them. It is measured in generations, not in project cycles, and it asks of its founders a particular kind of patience: the willingness to set something in motion that others will finish.
The Dream Educational City – Telangana is at the concept stage. It has no land, no approval, no promoter and no capital. What it has is a carefully argued case: that the region's next advance in education will not come from adding institutions one at a time, but from planning learning, research, residence and civic life together, on a single site, over a long horizon.
ANCONS initiated this concept and is developing it as an advisor. It will not own, govern or operate what follows. The institution that carries the concept forward must be independent of ANCONS, established under Section 8 of the Companies Act for public purpose, and answerable to its own board rather than to us.
This search is therefore not a campaign. It is a quiet, deliberate attempt to find the few people and institutions for whom a proposition of this nature is not an opportunity but an obligation — and who are prepared to examine it honestly, including the possibility that it should not proceed.

Before such an institution can be formed, a small group of credible individuals and institutions must be willing to sit together, examine the concept honestly and decide whether it should proceed at all.

The expected journey
Stage one
Identification of prospective founding members through confidential expressions of interest.
Stage two
Private discussions on purpose, governance, scale and feasibility.
Stage three
A founders' group decides whether an independent Section 8 institution should be formed.
Stage four
If formed, that institution assumes the concept, defines its own financial model and appoints its own advisors.
Stage five
Formal engagement with the Government of Telangana and other stakeholders, led by the new institution.
Why only a small number are sought
A founding group is not an audience. Its value lies in cohesion, candour and shared responsibility, and those qualities do not survive scale. ANCONS is therefore seeking a limited number of prospective founding members rather than broad participation.
Legacy philanthropy is distinct from giving. It is the deliberate construction of an institution that continues to serve long after its founders are forgotten — endowed, independently governed and protected from commercial capture. Institutions of that kind are rare precisely because they demand founders who accept that the returns are not theirs to collect.
